It's over...

Vacation is officially over... BOO!

We had a great time though. After arriving on Anna Maria Island Sunday afternoon... we decided coats and umbrellas were needed. I was not a happy camper. Who drives 19 hours to wear a coat?! NOT ME!! Monday was the same way! Tuesday thru Sunday were perfect though. Mid 80s and sunny... just the way I like it!

The kids are fish! They were in the pool or ocean pretty much from sun up to sun down. Haley has always loved the water, but she did learn to retrieve sticks and rings off the bottom of the pool. She also practiced swimming and can pretty much go the entire length of the pool. Drew used to hate the water, but discovered he loves it now. He loves that he can touch in 3ft and also loves going under. It is cute watching him count to 3 and just dunk his head. He can also get sticks off the steps by going under. We spent lots of time on the beach playing also!

We played putt-putt (Drew won), went to Adventure Island @ Busch Garden, ate ice cream (Kuddos to the place by us for having lactose free banana ice cream for Haley!) and played cards (Haley is a card shark)! We also ate lots of WONDERFUL fresh sea food. My kids LOVE calamari and shrimp!

Since we haven't been home for 24 hours... I haven't uploaded pictures... stay tuned for though!
